Jazz For Peace Announces National CD release Proceeds Benefit Underprivileged Kids
May 19, 2005 -- Jazz for Peace has announced a national launch of the Jazz for Peace CD to benefit underprivileged children. Fifty percent of all proceeds will be used to provide musical instruments to underprivileged children worldwide.
Featuring Jazz for Peace founder Rick DellaRatta, the CD includes some of the greatest names in jazz, as well as the London Symphony Orchestra. DellaRatta said, "I'm proud and driven to promote this cause and mission-for each individual to reach their own soul's potential-through an awareness of Jazz and a respect for worldwide peace."
