Single R Records Making Big Moves
May 27, 2005 -- Gut Checka Magazine was created by published poet and recording artist Rod Mosby aka Muniklip. He is the man whom many tag, The 30 Million Dollar Man, because of the large distribution deal he signed with Mustard Seed Multimedia, a company owned by Toris Williams in Tallahassee, Florida. It is being called the platform for the independent artist and the best move made so far by many who are keeping a close watch on the heartbeat of this young company. Angela Lloyd, Champagne, of Rich Lady Records in Jersey City, New Jersey said that
the company (in her opinion) is on the right track and that the moves being made by the Arkansas businessman are the right ones.
The company recently released a business plan to the public in hopes of attracting investors. By offerng 25,000 of the 100,000 stocks at $25 per share to investors
the company will be worth millions in a short amount of time. When asked about his distribution deal, Mosby replied, "There is not just one kind of distribution deal. I will be paid on the back end of this venture. That is why it is important that I get capital now."
Rod is set to return to the studio with a few collaboration requests being offered to him. His radio station's debut is being delayed due to contract differences with investors. His book "Ball Inside Me" will be available online for sale later this year. He has also signed a deal with an undisclosed company for selling his personal ringtones. Much attention is being given to the transactions of this young company. "I'm talking to the Wonder Twinz and Jonathan Fine of Fine Gold Productions outta New York this week. If you know them, you know I mean business. Holla atcha boy!"
