Michael Angelo Batio Endorsed by Ernie Ball



Michael Angelo Batio is now endorsed by Ernie Ball strings! Ernie Ball's8217;s high standards have attracted the world's8217;s greatest guitar players, including but not limited to, Jimmy Page, Paul McCartney, Jeff Beck, Carlos Santana, Slash. Jerry Cantrell and now, Michael Angelo Batio. Michael has used Ernie Ball strings throughout his career and is honored to be a part of the Ernie Ball team.



Michael recently returned from performing a phenomenal concert in Tokyo, Japan. While in Japan, he spent a day filming a live DVD and completed an extensive interview for Young Guitar Magazine. The DVD was filmed at the Musician's8217;s Institute (M.I.) in Tokyo. Michael played 4 different songs. Each of them in 1 take.



Michael has completed extensive filming and interviews for 2 of the biggest guitar magazines in the world. Young Guitar Magazine in Japan and Guitar World Magazine in the USA.



In June, 2006, MAB flew to New York City and filmed over 5 hours of footage to be used for upcoming columns in Guitar World Magazine. Writer Andy Alerdort supervised and directed the taping. In addition to the video, articles about Michael (written by Andy), will be featured in issues released in the fall of 2006. Thanks to Andy, GW editor Brad Tolinski and everyone at Guitar World Magazine.



Michael's8217;s tour schedule will include close to 100 shows by the end of 2006 including the USA, Brazil, Switzerland, Italy and The Netherlands. Shows in Peru, England, China and Russia, as well as encore performances in France, Brazil and several USA locations are scheduled for the 2nd half of the year. Michael was also honored at this years WAMI's8217;s as an inductee to 's8220;The Hall of Fame's8221;. Other past inductees include Steve Miller, The Violent Femmes, Liberace, and Les Paul.
