American Elements Continues Expansion of High Purity SemiConductor Materials Production Adding Selenides Antimonides and Arse



Los Angeles-based American Elements announced today further expansion of its new production capacity for certain ultra high purity (99.999%) semi-conductor materials. New added materials include metallic selenides, antimonides and arsenides, including Lead Selenide (PbSe (http://www.americanelements.com/pbse.html)), Bismuth Selenide (BiSe (http://www.americanelements.com/bise.html)), Indium Arsenide (InAs), and Indium Antimonide (InSb); all essential to many next generation photo-voltaic (solar energy), electronic and optical applications, such as infra red detectors and missile guidance systems.

Marketed under the trade name AE Semi-Conductor Materials (http://www.americanelements.com/AEsemiconductors.html), the new bulk manufacturing unit is designed to produce these materials in several forms including powder and in lump or chunk forms for use in thin film deposition applications.
