New Virtual Reality Gaming Business

A Missouri based business called, "The Country Club" has released a family-oriented online golf game package and a business opportunity available to anyone that will invest $99 to participate in promoting it.



The package consists of a 3-D, interactive, multi-player golf game, live online chat, and tournaments with prizes donated by the sponsors that include Jaguars, Hummers, and cash.



The games have been compared to Tiger Woods and Golden Tee Online by e-golf enthusiasts.



A Hollywood Tournament is scheduled soon that will feature Ray Romano, Adam Sandler, and Michael Douglas, among other celebrities.



The Country Club is planning to release more games in the next 12 months including a multi-player racing game and a multi-player soccer game.



The CDs and Game Downloads from "The Country Club" are made for Windows based computers only at this time.

The Country Club business runs on (16) Dell 6300 servers with a dedicated 100 megabit connection to the internet equivalent to (75) T-1 connections. The servers run on a Linux Enterprise platform. The servers are protected by hardware based, state-of-the-art firewalls built by NetScreen.



Network operations center in St. Louis, Missouri can be toured Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM Central time. The Country Club, as developer and manager of these products, has taken several steps to safeguard the integrity of its communications and computing infrastructure, including but not limited to, authentication, monitoring, auditing, and encryption.



President, Paul Schneider reported, "The worldwide video game industry, with revenues of $24.5 billion last year, overtook movie box-office receipts. Sales are expected to soar to $55 billion by 2008, according to PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Over 100 million people a day play online games. Plus another 200 million people will be playing next year according to Forrester Research."
