Quarterlife.com Launches Internship Program Social Networking Website to Connect Users with Employers

quarterlife.com has launched the Quarterlife Internship Program (QIP), a new service for career-oriented users to develop work experience and connect with renowned companies, it was announced today by Quarterlife, Inc. COO Melanie Hall.

Designed to help individuals pursue their creative passions in a professional context, student users interested in internships for fall, spring, or summer internships can send in their resume, cover letter, or any additional portfolio materials.

Some of the site's current listings include fall internships at NBC UNIVERSAL, SONY PICTURES TELEVISION, and GQ MAGAZINE. The QIP will give each user tools to improve their application materials and will also act as their personal agent in contacting companies, sending materials, and scheduling phone and in-person interviews. Users will receive up-to-the-minute correspondence from the QIP website as acceptance or rejection letters are received.

Hall commented, "The Quarterlife Internship Program presents a great opportunity for quarterlife.com to contribute its users on a level beyond digital interaction. It is a prime example of how our company seeks to cultivate and enrich the lives of creative people all over the world."

QIP features include FREE access to internship postings available on the "Intern" page of the quarterlife.com website (www.quarterlife.com/intern), an internship listings search, advice on interviews and resumes, as well as back-end access for companies to post unpaid and paid internships.

The Quarterlife Internship Program is spearheaded by "The Intern Queen," Lauren Berger.
