Edimax Computer is currently selling and shipping the new high-end 4+1 WAN PermaLINK PRI-785 and PRI-885. These models extend the traditional PermaLINK market by increasing the number of users supported from 100 to up to 500 users. The 4+1 WAN means that they have 4 WAN plus 1 separate DMZ ports with the DMZ port re-configurable as an additional WAN port, and this makes them the only 5 WAN port routers in the industry.

The PRI-785 is for outbound load balancing only while the PRI-885 provides both inbound & outbound load balancing. Inbound load-balancing is the crucial feature that enables people to do reliable self-hosting of Internet servers.
