Advanced Systems Group Develops New Territories in South

Advanced Systems Group (http://www.virtual.com) (ASG), the Denver-based IT consulting, integration, and project management firm, today announces the addition of three new offices: Baton Rouge, Louisiana; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Edmond, Oklahoma. By opening the new offices, ASG aims to help clients in those regions optimize technology to advance business goals and address current IT challenges such as cutting energy use and lowering costs.

Patrick Smith, Vice President of Sales explains, These new territories are part of our ongoing focus in the South. Manufacturers often group Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana together as a sales region, so these new offices offer ASG partners a higher degree of stability and strength.

ASG Regional Technologist Don Lukasek explains, In this economic climate, large technology vendors simply don'st have the resources to reach out to remote markets. ASG, on the other hand, has both the experience and the relationships to build rapport with customers in these regions. ASG matches customer requirements with the right technologies and vendors to create a solution that best addresses the customer'ss issues--so everyone wins.

The new offices are a natural extension of our current work in the South, continues Smith. Our Houston office has developed strong ties to the business community, so now we'sre building our presence there. The Louisiana and Oklahoma offices will be complementary to our already successful Houston office.

To fill the new offices, ASG (http://www.virtual.com) hired Harold Salles and Timmy Rojas in Louisiana, and Lee Kessinger in Oklahoma.

Salles and Rojas, a well-established team in Louisiana, have years of experience working together designing best-of-class enterprise IT solutions. Harold Salles has a successful history of professional service sales and product expertise. Prior to joining ASG, he worked for EMC and Global Data Systems.

As a Systems Architect Consultant, Timmy Rojas has an extensive background in system architecture services. He also has expertise in data center management including storage and disaster recovery methodology.

ASG selected long-time Oklahoman resident, Lee Kessinger, as the account executive for the new Oklahoma office. Throughout his distinguished career, Kessinger has cultivated an extensive sales background and strong product knowledge.

Lukasek describes the new team, We are always looking for experienced, talented, and inventive people who can bring our solutions and our clients together. Harold, Timmy, and Lee are all veterans of the industry. They each do a great job of getting off the beaten paths to the more rural areas, providing state-of-the-art, yet economical IT solutions to small-to-medium businesses.

ASG is a leading provider of enterprise IT consulting, architecture services and complete IT infrastructure solutions. As a consistent member of the VAR Business Top 500, ASG pursues active involvement in the industry, maintaining the highest level of engineering certifications with partners and the vendor community.
