Inc. magazine has named Networks Unlimited in its Top 5000 list of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States. The list was published this month.
Networks Unlimited was established by Mark Swain in 2000 in Grand Junction. At that point, the staff consisted of two employees. The business now includes more than 15 employees, with
offices in Grand Junction, Montrose and Denver. Expansion to an out-of-state office is being planned for the near future.
Proactive and service-oriented, Networks Unlimited offers managed IT solutions, services and consultation for small to mid-sized businesses. Customers praise the company for skillfully
managed, recession-proof IT systems that save them significant money.
Companies selected for the Inc. 5000 list were ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2005 through 2008. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by
the first week of 2005, and therefore able to show four full calendar years of sales. Additionally, they have to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent - not
subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2008.
