FDA Grants Clearance for NeuroLogica to Market the CereTom Mobile CT Scanner



NeuroLogica Corporation today announced that the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted clearance to market the CereTom Mobile CT Scanner "intended to be used for x-ray computed tomography applications for anatomy that can be imaged in the 25cm field of view, primarily head and neck."

The CereTom mobile CT scanner makes high quality imaging readily available, yet affordable to all hospitals and physicians. The scanner itself is lightweight, can be brought bedside, and used in any hospital room or clinic bay. The scanner is capable of performing normal CT, Perfusion, Xenon Perfusion and Angiography. It is designed for use in the ER, OR, ICU, MICU, SICU, NICU, interventional suite or any medical clinic. In the near future its capabilities will be expanded to facilitate use by orthopedic surgeons and dental specialists.
