Splash Radio on WFLO Feels Great about Being Number One



May 4, 2005 -- Splash radio show, an internet urban music talk radio show, hosted by Neeta and Tamiko T (Neeta Wooten and Tamiko Thomas) are excited about being one again. On Saturday May 7, 2005 9:30pm - 11:30pm EST at Republic Gardens in Washington, DC Splash radio show will have an intimate celebration to mark its One Year Anniversary of airing on WFLO internet radio station, (powered by www.im4radio.com) and currently being ranked the number one (#1) weekend radio show on its station. Owners and on air personalities, Neeta and Tamiko T, will be joined by guest hosts model Nikki Moore and actor/record label promotions director Akil Taffe to commemorate this occasion. Guests will enjoy birthday cake (cutting and toast at 11:00pm), cocktails and gift bags including special contents on behalf of Ideal PR, Hypnotik Entertainment, Jive Records, Zomba Music Group and others.

One year ago, Neeta and Tamiko T launched a new radio concept they call Splash Radio - a "splash" of this and a "splash" of that, with the motto of having "a comedic play with music and hot topics designed to make you laugh, love and live a little happier for at least two hours every Friday," is the concept that continues to enhance the success of the show. A spin off of Splash TV Show, which Neeta created, the show focuses on cutting edge topics from the "who's" to the "what's" of the urban entertainment world, blended with a variety of eclectic smooth urban music from the 70's, 80's, 90's and today to create a pleasurable, unique listening experience. "Splash Radio's hosts are full of charisma and the music they play always put me at ease after a hectic Friday in the office.
