Company Announces History For Sale
May 17, 2005 -- WJS Sales of New York has announced an interesting way to "own a piece of history".
The company's "Headliners" Series is a group of actual framed newspaper headlines that are becoming fascinating conversation pieces in homes and offices across the country.
"These are not reproductions but the ACTUAL headlines from the newspaper of the day", says Wes Sass, Vice President of operations for
the company . "What a great way to own an authentic piece of history."
Included in their catalog are one-of-a-kind headlines from sports, politics, world and national events and entertainment, with
dates ranging from over 20 years ago to headlines of today.
The most requested headlines "Well, surprisingly enough, celebrity death headlines are the most popular - and not so surprisingly, I would say that anything involving the Royal Family would be next," Sass says.
Mr. Sass is available to discuss much more on this phenomenon, including the process by which headlines are chosen (or rejected), where they look for these lost historical treasures, and more of the "top" and "bottom" list of popular headlines.
He can be reached, and a copy of the current "Headliners" catalog can be had at: e-mail protected from spam bots.
