Ares Media Group Unleashes Fighterz.com Beta

The Mixed Martial Arts community now has a virtual online arena for Fans and Fighters.

Looking to capitalize on the exploding growth in popularity of both Mixed Martial Arts and Social Networking, Vancouver-based Ares Media Group has launched a Beta version of its new Fighterz (http://www.fighterz.com) website, opening its doors to all members of the community, including Professional Fighters, Promoters, Agents, Sponsors, Models, and Fans.

Fighterz.com gives users the ability to create profiles, upload photos and videos, post their own written blog essays, follow their favorite professional fighters and keep up to date with industry news and events.

Says CEO Andy Kidd: MMA and Social Networking are growing at such a tremendous rate right now, it made sense to offer the community a central place online to meet and network. As an MMA enthusiast it allows me to focus my energies into something I love and have a passion for, which is exciting.

Partnered with Andy in the project are professional fighters John The Natural Alessio and Jason Heit, both experienced veterans of the fight game.

I specifically wanted John and Jason on board with us as they each will be able to contribute uniquely to the company, says Andy. And both have a huge resource of industry connections, which gives us some significant credibility in the industry.

Fighterz.com will operate in Beta mode until testing is complete and the next phase of development is completed towards the end of October.
