A Belgian blogger aims to promote his brother'ss artwork with his Growingbuzz website.
Renaud, from Brussels, Belgium, set up growingbuzz.com after thinking of ideas to promote his brother'ss artwork and to develop new viral marketing concepts. This young internet
entrepreneur said that he enjoyed creating new buzzy projects. I love creating original, innovative and powerful methods to promote websites on the web, Renaud said. It'ss why I have
imagined growingbuzz.com , a new kind of viral concept. In general, people like what is uncommon and very strange so, this blog can be a good example of what is made on Internet (in this
category)
The concept is simple: Growingbuzz is a blog (hosted by Blogger) where advertisers from all horizons determine by themselves how much they will be willing to pay to increase the value of
the future most famous painting in internet history : art patrons place bids, and the highest bidder wins the right to be the only advertiser on the homepage (the advertiser'ss website is
represented when users mouse over the art) for as long as someone else outbids him/her.
Slowly but surely bids are growing, growing, growing's8230;
Despite his site having only been online for 1 month, Renaud claims he has already attracted some advertisers who paid respectively $5, $11.5, $50, $160, $250 (paid by his brother
himself), $500, $630 and $700 !
The concept seems to work : Renaud thinks that this is the amount paid that will focus attention on the advertiser : of course high amounts will catch more attention than the low ones
(growing bids = growing buzz around this concept).
I think this concept has got the potential to make a lot of happy advertisers around me, Renaud commented, and perhaps larger companies will place higher bids to be present on Growingbuzz
and to contribute to the promotion of my brother'ss artwork .
For the moment, Renaud doesn'st earn a living from blogging Until now it'ss just a hobby, an experiment and a passion, he said.
