Parents Against Crime (PAC) March & Rally - Opportunities Within Reach bringing betterment tools- in the form of established programs and services within hands reach of the community. PAC'ss mission is to connect underserved community members with available resources in order to prevent adopting a lifestyle of crime.

Los Angeles, CA July 1, 2006 -- Parent's8217;s Against Crime (PAC) is a California based 501(c )(3)non-profit organization that provides parents and children a network of organizations with the help they need to live better and more fulfilling lives.

By providing this network of contact, PAC promotes healthy parent-child relationships and raises awareness for a number of important community issues including runaways, drugs, child abuse, latch-key kids, homelessness/shelter, hungry children, and education. Every year PAC empowers hundreds of individuals and families to lead healthier and more enriching lives.

The first March and Rally was held in 1997, and was a huge success for this charitable organization. This year's8217;s event is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever. It will be held on July 8, at St. Andrews Park in the heart of the city of Los Angeles.

The March will proceed through the streets of Los Angeles and culminate at St. Andrews Park for a rally with refreshments, informational betterment booths, and guest speakers to provide encouragement, support, and motivation for a positive lifestyle change. The Rally is highlighted by distinguished guests such as Cleveland Brown's8217;s standout Terrelle Smith.

At this year's8217;s March and Rally, several of Parent's8217;s Against Crime network of outreach organizations will be on hand to educate families about the value of healthy parent-child relationships, after-school, teen & adult employment, and summer programs and activities.

Check-in for the event will begin at 8:30am and the March will start at 10:00am. The event is planning on drawing over 500 people all throughout California and Arizona.
