Cascade, MT July 7, 2006 -- Homes for Our Troops, a non-profit organization that provides specially adapted homes for severely wounded veterans, announced today that a groundbreaking ceremony will take place to mark the beginning of a home building project for a severely wounded Montana Army National Guard member, SSG John Bennett and his family. SSG Bennett was severely wounded in Iraq when a sniper's8217;s bullet left him paralyzed from the waist-down. Members of the local community will be asked to assist in all aspects of the building process.
John Gonsalves, President and Founder of Homes for Our Troops, and local volunteers in the community of Cascade, would like to extend an invitation to your organization to share in this event with SSG Bennett, his wife and their four children.
