Chelmsford Mothers Club Announces New Location for General Meetings February General Meeting Focuses on Literacy Preparation

The Chelmsford Mother's Club (www.chelmsfordmothersclub.org) has announced a new location for its monthly general meetings. Starting February 20, 2008, general meetings will be held at The Little Sprouts Enrichment Center located in the Cross Point Towers, 900 Chelmsford Street, Lowell, MA.

The February general meeting will give members tools to help their children learn the alphabet or sight words, and get ready for preschool and kindergarten. Members will leave the workshop with actual games and activities they can do at home with their children. The literacy workshop will be presented by Little Sprouts' Executive Director of Literacy, Meghan McGinley Crowe.

General meetings are free and are open to mothers of children aged birth to five. New and existing members are encouraged to attend.

About The Chelmsford Mother's Club

The Chelmsford Mothers' Club was founded in 1996 by a small group of women who saw a need for a community resource that would help ease the transitions new mothers face while raising infants and young families. During the last decade, the club has grown from a handful of members to more than 140. Members include residents of Chelmsford, Mass., and surrounding towns, including Lowell, Billerica, Tyngsboro, Dunstable, Tewksbury, Acton, and Westford.
