Why: Last year, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Capital Area worked with more than 6,200 kids to help them grow into healthy, responsible young adults. The challenge is this: A lot more children in Central Texas need our support and programs. Our aim is to reach out to even more youth in 2005, turning them from children "at-risk" into children "at-promise." This event is an opportunity to share our mission and raise the funds to be able to support the people, programs, infrastructure and technology to meet the needs of the Capital area in this regard.
