SCSE Announces Call for Submissions on Religious Plurality
May 18, 2005 -- The Society for Cultural and Social Exploration announces a call for submissions on the topic of religious plurality. Authors are invited to submit their papers and articles on the topic by visiting the SCSE homepage at
www.exploration-society.org. Selected submissions will be published on the SCSE homepage and included in upcoming newsletters.
SCSE is looking for papers and articles that concentrate on all aspects of the idea of religious pluralism, both ideological and practical. In this time of religious friction across the globe, SCSE looks to facilitate a dialogue about the future of religious and secular beliefs, freedoms and their interactions. With the day-to-day growth of religion's importance in world events, SCSE hopes this project will educate and inform as well as offer a glimpse into the future of society.
Submission guidelines and more information are available at
www.exploration-society.org. SCSE will also accept papers on other topics, but asks that writers contact our director of special projects at
e-mail protected from spam bots before doing so.
SCSE is a research and scholarly organization which explores the cultures and social climate of the world, with "attention toward the exploration of society and an understanding of this world and its cultures though travel, discovery, scholar, communication and documentation. Our goal is to pull the blinders off the individual, through the support of the whole and put aside the chants of nationalism, false zeal, isolationism, bigotry, prejudice and ignorance." (SCSE Mission Statement)
Exploration-Society.org is host to news stories, discussion boards and a gallery with photographs from member and community travels and expeditions. The site also contains a Behind-the-Curtain section which offers researched and accredited news that may have fallen through the cracks of mainstream media.
SCSE is not influenced or affiliated with any political, religious, advocate or lobbying group. It is a society dedicated to intellectual pursuits and exploration. By creating a safe haven for discourse and discovery, the intention is to allow networking and debate, as well as bringing explorers together for the betterment of all mankind.
