May 30, 2005 -- Betwixt & Between Community Center invites you to attend a community picnic; an evening of drumming, singing and dancing to celebrate the Summer Solstice, followed by a powerful Drawing Down the Moon ritual under the full moon.

7-8:45pm - Ceremony - Casting a circle with songs by the B&B Chorus, tai chi breathing and drumming meditation, dancing by Syrns of the Myst, and a concentric circle dance for all men and women, boys and girls.

8:45-9:15pm - Full Moon Ritual (Mead Moon) - presented by the Princess of Mirth and the Guardian of the Beach!

9:15-10:00pm - Moondance (finish & clean-up)

Presented by Betwixt & Between Community Center
No pre-registration required; just show up!

Bring your picnic baskets and share the five, small cookout grilles in the picnic area, or bring your own grille. Break bread with your brothers and sisters. May you never hunger; may you never thirst. Bring a tarp and a blanket it case it turns out to be wet; it could happen! Or bring a chair if you like; you don't have to stand all through the ceremony; sitting on the ground is okay (it's a good thing).
