Major Media Opportunity with Trisha Yearwood and William Austin this Weekend



June 4, 2005 -- We are presenting you with a singular opportunity to either send a news crew to cover hire a local crew, or send a journalist. This weekend (June 4-6), Country superstar Trisha Yearwood along with William Austin, head of the Starkey Hearing Foundation, and a dozen volunteers (including doctors and audiologists) will fit 300 underpriviledged children with hearing aids in Marida, Mexico (adjacent to Cozumel) to give the gift of hearing. We believe your viewers would be very interested in seeing this priceless footage.

Trisha Yearwood canceled plans in order to participate in this worthwhile mission.

FYI--The Starkey Hearing Foundation to date has given away 120,000 hearing aids to the underprivileged by going on self-financed missions around the world.

He has personally fitted four presidents with hearing aids: Presidents Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr., and Bill Clinton. He has also provided hearing assistance to renowned people including Steve Martin, Paul Newman, Kirk Douglas, Walter Cronkite, Sidney Sheldon, Buzz Aldrin, Billy Graham, Marlee Matlin, Former Miss America Heather Whitestoneand Norman Schwarzkopf, among many others.)
