Dr. Seuss Fund at The San Diego Foundation Awards $20000 to Rolling Readers USA

At the request of Audrey Geisel, The Dr. Seuss Fund at The San Diego Foundation has granted Rolling Readers USA $20,000 for support of their literacy programs in San Diego County. This generous grant award will be used to purchase books, materials, program supplies and general operations support.

The legacy of Dr. Seuss lives on through the good works of the Dr. Seuss Fund at The San Diego Foundation. The Dr. Seuss Fund, a long-time partner of Rolling Readers USA, helps to make it possible for thousands of disadvantaged children throughout San Diego County to receive free books and volunteer literacy assistance.

On behalf of the children and families they serve each day, Rolling Readers USA is grateful to The Dr. Seuss Fund at The San Diego Foundation for belief in and support of their vital literacy programs. Rolling Readers believes that all children deserve to be literate. They promote early literacy skills and lifelong reading by providing high-quality books, materials, and volunteer services.
