Affinity4, one of the nation'ss leading affinity-based marketers specializing in helping charities, ministries and other nonprofit organizations raise funds, recently held its annual Board meeting where, despite the challenging economy, the company had much good news to report.
On hand to discuss a growing client roster, expanded offerings, new marketing initiatives and a major infrastructure improvement were top Affinity4 Executives and Board Members. They
included: President and CEO and Chairman of the Board Stephen D. Halliday, J.D., CPA; Vice President/CFO Loni Woodley; Vice President of Marketing and Consumer Sales Chuck Jamieson and

Affinity4 continues to make major strides bringing the affinity model to diverse nonprofits and helping them continue to raise funds during our nation'ss unprecedented economic downturn.
Among the nonprofits added to its partner roster were the UCLA Alumni Association and National Wild Turkey Federation.
Announced at the Board meeting were two new brand names added to the Affinity4 product/service line-up: Marsh automobile and homeowners insurance and Sky Angel's174; faith and family
television and radio programming.
Also highlighted at the Affinity4 Board meeting was the organization'ss successful re-branding campaign which launched a new brand promise, captured in this tagline: Ordinary Activities.
Extraordinary Giving, and executed throughout a new institutional marketing campaign featuring new collateral materials, advertising and Internet marketing. As part of the latter,
Affinity4 also initiated an advanced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) program.
Finally, Halliday and his executive team reported on the successful completion of a major upgrade to Affinity4'ss Norfolk, Virginia Call Center. It encompassed the integration of new
leading-edge technologies including Hewlett Packard (HP) PCs and flat-panel monitors, an Asterisk-based Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) phone system, a 52-inch plasma screen to
communicate important information to agents, and SugarCRM Professional, an award-winning Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform developed by SugarCRM Inc. (Cupertino, CA).
It is particularly gratifying today, as our nation fights back from one of its most difficult economic periods, to realize that Americans are still very optimistic as we at Affinity4 are,
said Halliday.
Our progress as an affinity marketer demonstrates two things, continued Halliday. Our business model works, and despite the obstacles, there are many admirable nonprofit organizations
that remain fully committed to achieving their missions and will seek out effective ways in which to do so. Many are finding that affinity marketing is not only a viable addition to their
fundraising tool box, but has become an essential one.
In addition to helping nonprofits through its affinity marketing service, Affinity4 also has a very active community service program. Over the past 12 months, the company and its
employees have held a successful blood drive for American Red Cross, sponsored a toy drive and fundraiser for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve'ss Toys for Tots Program, raised funds for
Hurricane Ike victims, helped ForKids renovate a home in Norfolk for a previously homeless family, and built a retaining wall to help prevent erosion at First Land State Park in Virginia
Beach.
