Antique Appraisal Night for Habitat for Humanitys Women Build Project...

As part of the 20th anniversary celebration of Habitat Buffalo, a special Women Build home is currently being built entirely by women at 31 Johnson Street, Buffalo. Women Build projects provide an environment in which women can feel comfortable learning skills they might not otherwise have the chance to acquire. Women from all walks of life and all areas of Western New York are participating in building this home for future homeowner Darlene Johnson and her two sons.

This fund raising event will help raise a portion of the $55,000 cost to build this 1,144 square foot house. During this event, Sandra Ziemer and her associates will provide verbal appraisals on items such as:

- Paintings

- Military Memorabilia

- Small Furniture

- Glass and China

- Arts and Crafts

- Jewelry

- Primitives

A suggested minimum donation of $5.00 per item appraised is requested.

The Antique Appraisal Night will be held on Friday, July 22, 2005, from 7 - 9 PM. Location: Community Room at St. Joseph University Church, 3269 Main Street, Buffalo (adjacent to the University at Buffalo South Campus) There is ample free parking behind the church. Complimentary coffee and cookies will be offered. Habitat House pins, magnets and t-shirts will also be available for sale.
