Archdiocese of St. Louis Selects Coupa Software as Platform forSmarter...

Coupa Software today announces the addition of the Archdiocese of St. Louis to a growing list of non-profit organizations deploying Coupa e-Procurement to control spending and protect the financial viability of their missions. After a careful study of purchasing practices at the Archdiocese, it was determined that they could better leverage the purchasing power of the organization with the adoption of more modern processes and technologies.Coupa e-Procurement will be the platform from which the Archdiocese centralizes purchasing across the offices and agencies of the Archdiocesan Curia. The Archdiocese of St. Louis contains close to 200 parishes, some with elementary schools, 10 Catholic High Schools, a seminary and several Catholic Charities agencies.

We expect to manage a considerable amount of our annual spending through the Coupa platform, according to Darrel Kalbfleisch, Director of Central Purchasing at the Archdiocese. With the better controls and visibility we gain through Coupa, saving just 10% of the spend under management will save millions of dollars at exactly the time when we need it most. This will allow us to be better stewards of the money directed at the Archdiocese'ss missions.

The Archdiocese of St. Louis is the largest religious institution to select Coupa to date, and joins a growing list of nonprofit organizations that have selected Coupa as the foundation for their smarter spending initiatives.
