January 23, 2005 -- Reach Out Magazine, a publication by people with disabilities for people with disabilities, is now a part of Reach Out abilities Services, INC, a Florida nonprofit
501(c)3 tax-exempt organization. In addition to the Interactive website & online magazine, the new organization promises more features both online & offline.
"This has been a dream of mine ever since I created Reach Out Magazine over 12 years ago," says Jim Jakubek - Founder & President. "By creating the new nonprofit organization we can
continue to provide our services for free while enhancing & improving them as well as expanding the scope of the magazine."
Reach Out Abilities Services will provide a complete informational & educational system for people with disabilities. Funded solely through grants, donations and fundraisers, Reach
Out will also hire people with disabilities for various positions throughout the organization.
Reach Out is currently accepting contributions to help jump start this project. Donations of all kinds are much appreciated (office space, computers, phones). People wanting to volunteer
or help with equipment or finances should call Jim at 954-985-0319. To learn more about Reach Out please visit the website at http://www.reachoutmag.com.
