OnMessage (http://www.itsonmessage.com), a full-service advertising firm, has given Honor Flight Network (http://www.honorflight.org) a whole new online presence to coincide with the organization'ss new fundraising push.
The non-profit group was created to transport our country'ss veterans to Washington, D.C. free of charge so that they can visit and reflect at their war memorials. Current statistics show
that we are losing approximately 1,000 veterans of World War II every day, so time is running out to honor these men and women who gave so much for our freedom. Honor Flight Network is
hoping the upgraded look to honorflight.org (http://www.honorflight.org), combined with a series of in-cinema Public Service Announcements
featuring prominent government and entertainment figures, will help raise awareness of the organization and, in turn, inspire donations.
OnMessage became involved with the organization through a client who recommended the growing Dallas agency.
Working with Honor Flight Network has given us a chance to be a part of an extremely worthy cause, and we were thrilled to do so, said Jim O'sGara, president and founder of OnMessage. We
hope that when people see the PSAs and go to the new website, they'sll be motivated to help Honor Flight Network meet their goals -- or to recommend the organization to the veterans in
their lives.
We are thrilled with the new look, said Earl Morse, founder and president of Honor Flight. We are a serious organization dedicated to a cause worthy of attention. This new website
reflects that. We are very grateful to the folks at OnMessage, who donated so much of their time and talents to make this happen.
The new website design gives the organization an updated look that showcases this upstanding, trustworthy and professional organization. It not only provides a dignified way for Honor
Flight Network to fundraise, but gives them a way to share information with veterans and their families.
Currently, Honor Flight Network gives top priority to senior veterans, World War II survivors, along with other veterans who may be terminally ill. Future plans include flights for Korean
War, Vietnam War, Gulf War and other war veterans.
