Orange Enterprises has acquired Vocational Trades of Alamance and Caswell Counties. The private, non-profit agency will now be known as O.E. Enterprises. They will continue the 35 year
history of Vocational Trades in providing employment for adults with disabilities in the Piedmont/Triad area and delighting businesses with the quality of their subcontracting work.
Located in Burlington and Yanceyville, NC, O.E. Enterprises utilizes more than 100,000 square feet of production floor space and has a 1600 square foot, class 100 clean room. Their goal
is to help businesses relieve production pressure and contract commitments by handling short term, incidental or peak work loads; eliminate costs required to hire, train and manage
temporary employees; improve cash flow and turn problem inventories into additional sales. Their services include: mail assembly, packaging, heat sealing, inspection, distribution
services, light assembly, shrink wrapping, and labeling, to name a few. We at TriPath are very satisfied with the quality of work that O.E. Enterprises provides to us. They are organized
and provide a good value added service to us. Steve Muma, V P of Operations, TriPath Imaging, Inc. Equipment and materials can also be transported by O.E. Enterprises own trucks or common
carrier.
"The quality of work and the dedication of our staff are tremendous; I am looking forward to maximizing our subcontracting potential and building new relationships with companies in the
Piedmont/Triad area. Combining the resources and talents of these two organizations will benefit not only our clients and business partners, but the community as a whole," said Alan
Pitstick, Contract Sales Manager, O.E. Enterprises.
