Mom Shares Secret to Spread Word About Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance...

After losing her 14-week old baby, Wendy Becker was amazed at how many women confided in her that they too had suffered miscarriages. Often their losses occurred before their pregnancies were publicly announced, and fearing no-one would understand the pain they carried in their hearts, these women kept the depths of their sorrow silent. Having a miscarriage is often compared to joining a secret club - there are many members but we don't know who they are until we join ourselves.

Desperate to find a keepsake that would keep her baby's memory alive, Ms. Becker found herself drawn to her last ultrasound image - the baby was curled up peacefully in the shape of half a heart. Although she has no background in jewelry making, Ms. Becker became determined to turn that image into a real keepsake charm.

"Baby in My Heart" memorial keepsake jewelry was created to honor the life of Ms. Becker's unborn child who died in November, 2006. It can be found on her website: http://www.miscarriagememories.com
