Salans Represents Leading Turkish Petroleum Distribution Company Turcas Petrol A.S. in its Joint Venture with Shell



Salans represented Turcas Petrol A.Ş., a leading Turkish petroleum distribution company publicly traded on the Istanbul Stock Exchange, in its joint venture with Shell. The joint venture company was established as a result of a spin-off of the downstream petroleum businesses of Turcas and Shell into the joint venture company. The current market value of the joint venture company is US$ 2.5 billion.

The team advised Turcas on the legal and regulatory aspects of this joint venture and spin-off, including dealing with the notification and disclosure requirements.
