Huagati Systems Introduces Hedgehog Hedging Tracker

Huagati Systems today announced the availability of Hedgehog Hedging Tracker, financial management software for managing hedging operations of currencies and commodities. Hedgehog Hedging Tracker is a web based multiuser system with flexible configuration options.

Hedgehog provides a single storage system for commodity and/or currency hedging transactions as well as related information such as market calendars, broker details, collaterals, rates and prices. It also has a built-in document management system that stores an unlimited number of spreadsheets, invoices, contracts and any other documents related to transactions and brokers/banks.

Flexible reporting

In addition to built-in standard reports such as mark-to-market and transaction lists, the system also comes with a built in report builder where users can create their own report templates for individual or shared use. Tight integration with Microsoft Excel allows flexible further analysis of data.

Hedgehog Hedging Tracker also has a built in calendar system where users can see positions by date in four different calendar views. The calendars provide a clear overview of upcoming delivery dates and settlement dates along with market events.

Availability

Hedgehog Hedging Tracker is accessed through a web browser, and available both as a hosted solution where the software and data resides on secure managed servers in the US, and as a stand-alone system that customers can install on their own intranet servers.

Built on Microsoft server technologies

The software runs on Microsoft Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 servers with SQL Server 2005 or 2008* and Internet Information Server 6.0 or 7.0. It is built on Microsoft .net framework version 3.5 and utilizes Microsoft Ajax browser for an improved user experience.
