The Prosser Group Teams to Submit Proposal for DOE Smart GridDemonstration...

Con Edison leads the team requesting approximately $46 million to help fund smart grid demonstration projects in New York and New Jersey.

The Smart Grid will utilize information technology instead of redundant physical assets to improve or uphold reliability while adopting alternative sources of energy, according to The Prosser Group'ss CEO, Ron Prosser. The key enablers are collaboration tools that drive situational awareness, rapid response, and distributed energy storage.
