Global PTM Charges Up PowerSeraya Limited with Tailored Asset Management Solution

Global PTM (http://www.globalptm.com), the leading provider of intelligent asset management business solutions, announced the successful delivery of a complex Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software solution that went live today, for Singapore-based Energy Company PowerSeraya Limited (PowerSeraya). Global PTM was selected to deliver their proposal of a tailored EAM solution that comprises IBM Maximo and other tools for PowerSeraya. The implementation kicked off on January 17, 2008 at PowerSeraya's Corporate Office, making it one of the fastest executions of a project of this size and complexity.

Formed in 1995, PowerSeraya is one of the key players in the energy sector and is responsible for well over 28% share of the Singapore electricity market. To support multiple businesses and operational systems internally, PowerSeraya needed a system that will help drive the company's efficiency, resolve functional and speed issues as well as replace their current unsupportive solution.
