Camping in a Cabin Versus a Tent
May 18, 2005 -- There was a time when I would never have considered camping a "real" experience unless I was sleeping on the ground in a tent.
Then I
went camping with my children.
That experience really changed my point of view.
Camping with young children can be a real challenge if you're looking to be able to relax during your vacation. Sleeping in a cabin, I found out, is a perfect way to introduce your children to the experience of camping without stressing them or yourself too much.
So if anyone tells you that you are a "wimp" because you
went camping in a cabin, don't believe them! You know your own limits and your children better than anyone else!
You have made the experience less stressful for yourself, and therefore everyone involved will have a much more enjoyable experience.
Relax!
Have fun!
Trust your own instincts!
