Central Kentucky Ducks Unlimited in Conjunction with Canoe Creek Ranch...

Ken Stewart, owner of Canoe Creek Ranch in Garrard County, Kentucky, announced that Kentucky Ducks Unlimited will be holding their first annual Central Kentucky Ducks Unlimited Regional Fun Shoot at Canoe Creek on August 6,

2005.



An avid supporter of Ducks Unlimited, Mr.Stewart is proud they chose Canoe Creek for their 1st annual Fun Shoot and says "As always we will do our utmost to make this an exciting day for all. "



The fun shoot will consist of 100 targets plus a 5-stand event. Lewis Class Scoring will be used with prizes for high over all and 1st, 2nd, & 3rd of each class.



In addition there will be a special Greenwing class with prizes for the kids. Other prizes include guns and Ducks Unlimited gear for the 5-stand and Sliding Long Bird competition.



European Rotation begins at 9:30 AM and the last one out will be at 1:30 PM followed by a BBQ and awards and prizes at 3:30PM. There will also be a raffle and silent auction for Ducks Unlimited Merchandise.



Entries are limited to the first 200 shooters. The entry fee of $65 includes 100 birds and BBQ lunch.



Mr. Stewart said that he expects a big turnout for this event and encourages those interested in participating register early to assure entry.
