Oak Ridge Area Shooting Sports Enthusiasts Eagerly Anticipate the Relocation...

#8211; Charlie's8217;s Knives, a local area knife store, announces the move of it's8217;s retail outlet to a new, larger and higher visibility location at 1944 Oak Ridge Turnpike in the Four Oaks Plaza near the Magnolia Tree Restaurant. In addition to the new store location, Charlie's8217;s Knives will be expanding their product lines to include firearms and shooting supplies. Says owner Charlie Heth, Hardly a day goes by that we don's8217;t have more than one customer in the store or on the phone inquiring about firearms and shooting supplies. Unfortunately, with the exception of some limited long gun offerings at Wal-Mart and Kmart, Oak Ridge has been without a comprehensive firearms and shooting sports retail shop for quite some time. We are so pleased to have the opportunity to bring this exciting expansion to Oak Ridge and the surrounding area.



's8220;We will be opening in our new location on Monday, the 3rd of July with our knives, swords, scissors and other edged instruments. As soon as our federal licensing is completed in the next week or so we will start to add the firearms and shooting supplies,'s8221; Mr. Heth continued. With the move, the Charlie's8217;s Knives retail establishment has been expanded into 1800 sq. feet to cater to not only the knife enthusiasts but the shooting sports enthusiasts as well. The new location will include more retail sales space to accommodate the new products, a demonstration area for whittlers and carvers and knife makers as well as a class room area for firearms safety instruction and Tennessee Carry Permit Classes.



We would like to thank all of our customers that have supported us throughout the last four years and invite everyone down to the new location. The business that they helped us build at our previous location and on the internet business site has afforded us the opportunity to expand the store - offering a wider variety of outdoor sporting products.
