The Proventia FTF is a solid state filter that traps and burns soot reducing particulate matter emissions by more than 50 percent. Designed for ease of installation, this new product provides owners of model year 2002 and older transport refrigeration units a low cost option for making their TRUs CARB compliant. Following and extensive field test program with several large fleet operators, the Proventia FTF was granted approval under Executive Order DE-08-001 (http://www.arb.ca.gov/diesel/verdev/level2/eo_de08_001.pdf).
"This product is a perfect fit for Rypos as it complements our other product offerings in the transport category space. The high quality of the product and the economic and operating benefits it provides the fleet and owner operators of mid-life TRUs, make this product an attractive option to re-powering," said Peter Bransfield, RYPOS' CEO. The new FTF product is available immediately and Rypos is accepting orders for third and fourth quarter deliveries. Markku Hakkarainen, CEO of Proventia USA, commented; "We are pleased and excited to be expanding our relationship with Rypos. Our technology combines with their US market presence will ensure that we reach and support the TRU community well in advance of the verification deadlines approaching at the end of the year."
