Debbie Durkin to Host Main Event Red Carpet Lounge in Park City



Sundance veteran Debbie Durkin will host Main Event Red Carpet Lounge 's38; Green Suite in partnership with lifestyle experts Platform Media Group to honor the 2009 Sundance Film Festival after hosting a successful Green Suite for the 2008 Primetime Emmys. By night, the space features a Celebrity Charity Poker Challenge hosted by Jamie Gold (WSOP Champion) and Yancey Arias (Knight Rider) to benefit Don Cheadle 's38; Annie Duke'ss Ante Up for Africa; Lives To Save (LTS); and Mekhi Phifer'ss (ER) The Vine Group USA. In addition, the space will host parties for Sundance premieres Adam and The Winning Season. By day, the Sundance Lounge features an acoustic jam stage and talent hospitality lounge, and a giving/gifting suite for Celebrities, press junkets for Sundance premieres Spring Breakdown and Why We Laugh: Black Comedians on Black Comedy; and an NFL Championship Viewing Party on Sunday featuring one-on-one Heads-UP Challenges where guests can challenge Jamie Gold and his celebrity friends benefitting MDA-ALS Division. All Main Events take place at the Hotel Park City, January 16-19th.

To honor the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards, Debbie Durkin hosted the Main Event Red Carpet Lounge and Green Suite which was held on the private H.M. Warner (Warner Bros.) estate in Hancock Park in Los Angeles starting Thursday, September 18, 2008. That event brought VIP guests out to enjoy the warm sunshine, receive eco-friendly gifts and support the Environmental Media Association. Cruise Car was Durkin'ss choice for sustainable celebrity transportation. They donated a four-passenger Sunray solar-hybrid golf cart which was auctioned at EMA'ss Media Awards Silent Auction event on November 18, 2008.



At night Hollywood gathered together for a Celebrity Charity Poker Challenge with NewPoker.com. Guests included Ian Ziering (Dancing with the Stars), Mimi Rogers (My Boys), Ken Davitian (Get Smart), Tony Denison (The Closer), Annie Duke and Joe Reitman, among others.
