International Biometric Group IBG Is Pleased To Announce Its Upcoming...

International Biometric Group (IBG) is pleased to announce its upcoming webcast: EU Travel Documents and Systems.

IBG provided consultancy services to the Government of Malta during the procurement and evaluation of a national strategy that addresses Malta'ss identity management programs. IBG worked with the Maltese Government to conduct a feasibility study and write the functional requirements and specifications for their e-Passport, e-ID, and border control systems.

This webcast will provide a background on current EU travel documents and systems, and will highlight IBG'ss experience assisting countries with these programs. IBG Senior Consultant Dave Coleman will spend 30 minutes discussing technologies in travel document production, border control management, and system deployment including topics such as:

> Travel documents in use in North America and the European Union

> Enrollment, production, and issuance of travel documents

> Biometric collection at the border - fingerprint, face and iris

> EU information systems relevant to travel

> Air, sea, and land entry use cases

> Lessons learned from the Maltese National Identity Management System
