New York August 31, 2009 -- Gelek Rimpoche and the Jewel Heart New York Center are pleased to present this unique opportunity to receive the Ne Ten Chu Druh empowerment of the 16 Arhats Sept. 12, 2009. Given by the Venerable Keutsang Rinpoche, this empowerment is rarely offered in the US, and it acts as a blessing from the Buddha and the great Arhats as well as for the longevity of spiritual masters.





Keutsang Rinpoche was born in Tibet in 1944.He was recognized as the incarnation of the 5th Keutsang Rinpoche when he was just two years old. When he was 16, Rinpoche was imprisoned as a class enemy by the Chinese government, and he remained in prison for 20 years. He was released in 1980, and left for India in 1985. He is the author of Memoirs of Keutsang Rinpoche. In this book, HH the 14th Dalai Lama writes I personally have a special relation with Keutsang Rinpoche. It was his predecessor (the 4th Keutsang Rinpoche) who headed the search party that discovered and identified me as the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet. Keutsang Rinpoche currently lives at the Dalai Lama'ss residence in Dharamsala.
