Premier Holidays Offers Expanded Range of Holiday Villas

Premier Holidays, a leading supplier of villa holiday accommodation, has expanded into a number of new locations, including mainland Spain, South Africa and Gozo.



Over the past five years, the popularity of self-catering holidays has dramatically increased worldwide. Villa holidays, while still a niche travel product, have become an increasingly popular alternative to package and hotel holidays and the segment is one of the fastest growth areas in the travel industry. In 2004, UK holidaymakers alone took more than 26 million self-catering holidays, an estimated 75% of those were to destinations abroad. With that increase in traveler popularity there has been a similar increase in the number of villas on offer, often directly from owners, some professionally managed and many not. Premier Holidays has spent the past 6 months in their new locations, scouting out a portfolio of properties that offer excellent value and meet stringent quality criteria.

So much of the recent growth in demand in the industry has been met by owner-direct or less than professionally run start-up companies - and clients are often subjected to villas and service that is certainly below their expectations. Premier Holidays has focused our efforts on combing through the vast array of properties available to offer the highest quality villas that offer good value to customers," comments Yvonne Fox, co-founder of Premier Holidays. "We have used our years of experience in the villa holiday industry to bring together an excellent new portfolio of properties in the Costa del Sol, Gozo and Cape Town - and we expect to be able to offer villas in over 15 locations by mid-2006 on the same basis."

The company, which until 2005 focused exclusively on villas in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, has developed an excellent customer service reputation and a large, international client base. Through a partnership programme and increased regional representation in Europe, Asia and Africa, the company is increasing the scope of its villa portfolio to meet the growing demand for high-quality, good value villa holidays.
