Business, civic, environmental, and policy leaders from across the country will be featured in a unique virtual event about making a difference (http://www.forthepublic.org/Social_Responsibility.html) is about informing the public on important issues of the day and practical ways by which individuals, organizations and communities can contribute for a better future.
The event is a one-of-a-kind national gathering and includes a variety of programs available at no-charge to the public. All that is needed to take part is Internet access or a phone.
On-demand replays will be available for those who miss live Tele-Webcasts.
Volunteerism, green practices, civic engagement, community leadership, mentoring, ethics, democracy, family connections, environmental stewardship, business best practices and a host of
other topics will be included, a menu of options through which virtually everyone can make a difference.
An interview with Ben Cohen & Jerry Greenfield is the keynote program, available early in the day, with a one-time-only evening replay. Cohen and Greenfield are co-founders of Ben
& Jerry's (http://www.forthepublic.org/www.ForThePublicProject.org.html).
