Trade Price Conservatories Showcases Extreme Weather Resistance Tests

Trade Price Conservatories have been showcasing the Synseal technology used in all its conservatories... by subjecting them to extreme weather conditions.

The challenge was to ensure their conservatories could withstand the most brutal wind speed and simulated snow tests that were thrown at it to mimic the unpredictable weather experienced in the UK. The tests were carried out by the independent engineers at Wintech, using a standard installation, no extra bolts or braces to give it extra strength, no different to the Synseal conservatories sold every day at Trade Price.

The wind test consisted of aiming a DC6 engine normally seen on airliners straight at the roof, apart from the shaking guttering withstood an equivalent wind speed of 160 mph, setting a new record in the process!

The same conservatory having just been subjected to extreme wind speeds was then given the snow test by sucking air out of it, simulating the pressure of an incredible nine feet of snow being on the roof!

Trade Price Conservatories Managing Director Karl commented "This test is great evidence of the quality of the Synseal product, no tricks or gimmicks were used in this test, they really can withstand extreme weather conditions exceeding every accreditation standard and that's why we have been supplying Synseal for over 10 years".

Trade Price Conservatories are a leading supplier of DIY conservatories nationwide in the UK. To see their range of conservatories available with Synseal technology or view the test video, see the company website at http://www.tradepriceconservatories.com
