10 Color Printing Label Impressions Inc. Allows for Special Effects...

Label Impressions, Inc. has added 10 color printing to its list of unique capabilities offering additional shelf appeal and 'spop's to food, cosmetic and nutriceutical labels and packaging.

In today'ss economy shelf appeal is more important than ever. Consumers face a myriad of choices within product categories. The current ten color press is outfitted with servo driven infeed and outfeed tension, allowing for tight register printing on a wide variety of packaging films as well as both thick and thin tag stock. Additional features of Label Impressions's ten color press are -- video registration monitors, helical gears, which eliminate gear marking, static eliminators at each ink station, in line corona treater to enhance ink adhesion, both UV and water-based printing, foil stamping, in-line embossing, and multiple laminating stations.

As a result our newest 10 color Nilpeter press allows us to combine multiple special effects such as several hits of opaque white, embossing, raised ink patterns, scratch and sniff, and foil stamping. Salisbury adds, Every label we print must pass a rigorous ASTM standard rub test on our Crockmeter. We subject our printed labels to 50-200 rubs using alcohol, face to face, face to corrugated, and sometimes actual product exposure, thus ensuring a zero failure rate (http://www.labelimpressions.com/quality.html) in shipping and actual product use. Often times we will lay down our own unique double varnish system which consumes two print stations. With ten colors at our disposal we can now print special effects and multiple colors along with our double varnish system! This provides a real benefit to our clients.
