Dynamic Dies Celebrates 35 years



The employees at the Holland manufacturing facility surprised John Pohlman and Tom Sullivan (owners of DDI) with a small celebration for the 35th Anniversary of Dynamic Dies. A poster picture of Tom and John when they first started the business was created for the event by the high end graphics department. Several long term employees shared stories about "the good old days". Kevin Koelsch- Product Development Manager, remarked how Tom would drive all the way to New York for deliveries and how they use to play soccer at lunch using the building wall as a goal until John came out and found several dents in the wall. Following the remarks everyone shared in cake that was decorated with the words 35th Anniversary and Congratulations Tom & John.



Dynamic Dies, Inc. is a privately owned company that was started in Holland, Ohio in 1971. For 35 years DDI has provided corrugated converting companies the cutting dies to cut boxes and the flexo printing plates to print them. John Pohlman is the Company President and Thomas Sullivan acts as the Secretary for the corporation. The two partners struggled for the first few years but enjoyed a tremendous growth period during the late seventies though the mid eighties. The company now operates four facilities. Dynamic Dies, Incorporated provides Pre-Press Engineering and High Performance Tooling. Products include Flexographic Plates and Steel Rule Cutting Dies. Through creativity Dynamic Dies Incorporated has also introduced several patented innovations to the industry. Special value is offered through technical field support and customized learning programs.
