As an introduction to the sensory world of SKIN, the paper's designer has conceived and created an installation that awakens all senses, inviting guests to experience the world of SKIN as it morphs in and out of varied compositions and environments. Koto Bolofo (the photographer commissioned specifically for this event) has integrated his work throughout the space with the use of SKIN. His photos are artistic creations for and about SKIN.

A creative material in its own right, SKIN enters into the creative process from the very beginning. It is particularly suitable for applications in which touch is essential: brochures, invitations, packaging, bags, business cards, deluxe boxes, notebooks, prestigious invitations, brochure covers, envelopes, original writing paper But inventive designers will not stop there!

SKIN offers amazingly even matte colours with outstanding tactile qualities. Bright, very contemporary colours set off any design, and its deep, sumptuous classic colours are easy options for upmarket productions. The three pastel shades developed with Arjowiggins' leading-edge technology give outstanding results in four colour printing and Extra White gives a contrast that is seldom achieved. In addition, the paper has an extremely short drying time. Skin is also available in a wide choice of strong colours to suit all needs and fancies.

SKIN is not only spectacularly beautiful but has an unusual feel and unique finish that will not scuff or show fingerprints.

- 3 grammages: 135 g for text, 270 g and 380 g for cards.

Environment.

SKIN is produced by Arjowiggins, a worldwide company which constantly strives to reduce the environmental impact of paper production. These products make exclusive use of elementary chlorine free pulp (ECF) made from trees grown in sustainable forests. All Arjowiggins mills have obtained or are in the process of obtaining ISO 14001 certification based on the International Environmental Management Standard.

SKIN was designed by Emeric Thibierge, Art Director for Arjowiggins Group. The paper combines his artistic talent with the renowned expertise and technical know-how of the Arjowiggins Group.

His creations, all now references, prove that the market needs a constant stream of new products: Rives (1990), a paper infused with culture, history, elegance, and tradition, is now a classic for the Arjowiggins group; Sensation (1991), designed to give the printed image the depth of the original picture; Mineralis (1992), with its mottled, painted effect, is part of the trend towards new, warm materials; Canevas (1995), with a herringbone grain left by the felt conjures up the linen papers of the past; Cromtico (1998), a coloured tracing paper directly inspired by Murano glass was a lightning success; Evanescent (2001), a precious, ultra-light paper with a golden or pearly sheen; Nantucket (2003), a refined luxurious paper like the houses on the island of the same name off the coast of Cape Cod (USA); Dentelle (2005), a hymn to femininity; and lastly Skin, an idea that came to Emeric Thibierge as he gazed at the skin of Malay women.
