Will Natural Gas Fundamentals Prevail in 2009 and 2010

Natural gas prices are influenced by both fundamental and technical factors. Fundamentals consider various facets of supply and demand, including the status of natural gas storage inventories (http://www.energysolutionsinc.com), liquefied natural gas imports (LNG (http://www.energysolutionsinc.com)), Canadian imports, production levels, as well as economic issues and weather-related events. Conversely, technicals consider things like trading patterns, rates of change, and trading volumes.

Ultimately, when natural gas prices (http://www.energysolutionsinc.com)move up or down, analysts disagree on whether the price movement was driven by fundamentals or technicals. Energy Solutions, Inc. believes that the natural gas price rally in the first half of 2008 was driven primarily by technical reasons. We believe the underlying fundamentals for natural gas at this time aren'st that much different than they were at the start of 2008, says Valerie Wood, President of Energy Solutions, Inc. What has changed significantly is how the fundamentals are now viewed. Basically, in the first half of 2008, fundamentals were out-muscled by technicals but now fundamentals carry more clout.

In its November edition of The Advisor, Energy Solutions, Inc. takes an in-depth look at the fundamentals of natural gas and how those fundamentals will influence natural gas prices in 2009 and 2010. In addition, to onshore and offshore domestic production (http://www.energysolutionsinc.com) and demand, we'sll also address the potential natural gas price impact from Canadian oilsands (http://www.energysolutionsinc.com)projects, natural gas pipeline infrastructure improvements, LNG facilities, and more, says Wood. We expect fundamentals to prevail in 2009.

Educate yourself, says Wood. By keeping pace with the ongoing changes in the natural gas industry, a buyer is able to make decisions based on sound data, not fear. The Advisor, a weekly and monthly publication of Energy Solutions, Inc., is a valuable resource for businesses. We do the research and analysis for you and then put it into a time-saving, easy-to-read format, that even includes strategies and recommendations, says Wood.

Through The Advisor, businesses will better understand their options and risks. By comparing the downside potential to the upside risk, businesses gain the peace of mind that the right decisions are made for their company. Remember, knowledge is power, said Wood.
