The original version of 10 Little Rain Drops was first developed in the 1990s when the author was working as a volunteer with the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. Originally entitled Five Little Rain Drops (ISBN 0-921122-16-0), the work was one of the first of its kind created specifically for the young, blind reader.
