"Lori's Heaven Sent" could enable a care provider to re-start or shut off a mobile from a distance, merely by clapping or through a voice-activated mechanism. This design could save a care provider time and energy usually spent repeatedly running into the nursery. Lori's Heaven Sent would feature an easy set up.
Lori's Heaven Sent would consist of a round mobile measuring two feet tall and one foot wide. The device would be producible in two variations: a design that would hang from a ceiling hook and a model that would clamp to the side of a crib and would suspend over the crib by a bendable arm. The mobile would integrate sound-sensitive components that would respond to a clap, turning the music and motion on or off (or through voice-activation technology.) Shapes suspended from the mobile would depict the sun, moon and stars, patented animated characters or could be personalized. The mobile could play tunes related to popular animated characters with proper licensing permission or personalized tunes.
