Mothers Portal Expands To Offer Blogging
May 5, 2005 -- SearchMothers.com announced today the expansion of its website to support Blogging. The SearchMothers.com Blog is set up as a collaborative space. Those who use it can make it a political soapbox, a breaking news outlet or a daily or weekly pulpit.
The Blog is a place set up off the main website where visitors can come and write their own opinions and insights on an ongoing basis. New information will show up at the top so visitors can read what's new.
"We hope this blog will enable the thousands of mothers that come to SearchMothers.com per year to have a voice and connect with others," said Sonina Matteo, Founder of SearchMothers.com.
SearchMothers.com is a website portal that offers mothers of all types-- single, remarried, divorced, unmarried and married an opportunity to access accurate and helpful information about parenting, child custody, child support, child care, family law, working motherhood, and more. Information available to mothers include links to pre-screened web sites to help mothers find useful information.
"SearchMothers has content for those women who are entering the position of single motherhood or just motherhood. SearchMothers.com continues its goal of assuring access to as much information as possible for mothers to succeed in their endeavors," said Matteo. "Improving the quality of life for mothers and their children in the United States is one of the key concerns and goals of SearchMothers.com."
This blog is in response to a request for helping Mothers nationwide, especially single and re-married mothers. Throughout the U.S. these mothers are in need of emotional and financial support during times when they have lost custody of their children, or are losing custody of their children, and in their daily lives. The current SearchMothers.com Message Board offers a forum for Mothers to discuss these and other subjects, and now the SearchMothers.com Blog will also be another place for such a forum.
